Default GSK questions

we had a 96 with the 5speed, idk what was all done to it but i was told it had a plate to do 300hp and 800lbs, truck reved to 3k no problem but wouldnt go over 95mph, when you red lined the truck in any gear it would dump out a solid colunm of smoke

my 95 w/auto with everything in my sig will dump out smoke off the line but nothing as i get to 3k rpms

is the difference in the trucks smoke the tranny or the way the pumps were set up is what im wondering?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

oh and the 95 w/auto wont rev past 2600 when in OD even if im doing 110+mph

if your not getting smoke or a haze at least then your either...

1. not getting top end fuel
2. your turbo is clearing up all your unburnt fuel (smoke)

you can get a 4 GSK for about 85 bucks

put in the 4k's it will make a HUGE DIFFRENCE!!!! and i wouldn't worry about the 60lb springs till you get the extra cash... i did 4k and 60lb valve springs truck wont spin 4k unless i rev it in park or neutral.. in gear driving i can only hit 2900 when i floor it,
