Default 64/14 Turbo too big?

With everything that I have done in my signature, is a 64/14 turbo too big? if so what would you suggest?

my buddy has a 64/71/14 and really likes it. if you dont mind a little slower spool up but it keeps the egts at a good number for stop go street driving.

I dont know the exact size, but my buddy was talking about getting rid of it because he said her couldnt spool it fast enough on his 24v. He does alot of sled pulling and said he was going to a 64/12. My only worry is that he said he couldnt spool it fast enough and he has a manual, mine is an auto... Wouldnt it be easier to spool it up with a manual?

yes it is easier with a manual ... we need to know the turbine wheel size.

but from what your saying its gonna be a lag pig on a 12v

Lag pig just means when it hits it hits hard.

true, but it will suck for towing and it may not be super fun to drive either

I would go more for a 62/71/14 size turbo.

well I spool the turbo i have now just fine with my automatic but i also have a common rail, and my turbo is a 64/74/14, which is pretty large for a single, so i think you'd be able to spool it, it's just gonna be slow
