I know you can buy em that are universal fit. Just go to a construction or tractor dealership. I would suggest one that has a lock of some sort to hold it out in the off position. Some of them I have seen pull out and twist to lock. It's rare but there have been occasions where Military trucks that use these have re-started while still hot, so they went to the locking type exclusively way back when.

DBogo, have you tried cleaning your solenoid up? Often times there is nothing much wrong with it....ost guys replace them when they could fix it with a little TLC.

If your boot is worn, you can replace it with some bicycle innertube and a tye wrap or get one from these guys:

http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/

These guys have some excellet parts for 12V's

BTW, Have a peek here to check your adjustment:

Here's what you'll need, I'm planning on doing the same thing this weekend, where's Galway? I'm in Akron, just outside of Buffalo, towards Pembroke. If your close you can come over to the shpa and we can knock out both trucks in one weekend.

109420R2
449787C1
1686729C91 or 1680066C91 or 302710C92
371146C1

And then from a hardware store:

1- 3/8" Washer
1- #10 Machine Screw
1- 7/16" x 28 nut
1- #8 x 32 set screw

Now where all these parts go, I don't know yet, I was gonna order the parts and piece them together myself... I was hoping to find the plate and everything that would be on the pump, but no such luck.

There is also another set of part numbers I can give you, but I think that set takes a bit more fabrication, then again, I don't know how much fabbing this set of numbers takes. I was thinking you could just bolt the cable in in place of the solenoid, but from anything I've seen you can't do that. Here's to hoping.
