wouldnt take much just an ignitor like on a gas grill some cold gas that is volitile. get you some electrical parts hook up a fully protected circuit and put it all on a switch to some actuators than you got it. still thats gonna cost around 350 if you do all the work yourself

No jets needed, just an electronic "gas on/off valve" with tubing plumbed above two ingniters or spark plugs for the stacks with a switch. Keep the engine reved up to avoid the propane settleing, hit the switch and light up the sky. Simple if you think it through.

The why is beyond my comprehension although I have read some of your posts before this one.

I wonder how long before we hear about one of these setups gone horribly wrong?

I have seen a pulling semi that has flames coming out of his stacks, crowd seems to like it, can't remember what he calls the truck, but I see it at an NTPA pull every year.

I've ran the idea through my head a few times. propane would def be easiest, just simple on/off and igniters in the stacks. a vaporized liquid through some kind of jet would make more impressive flames, but i wouldn't be too keen on shooting that vertically.
