Default power estimates & advice for a newbie?

Hi guys. I'm new to this site, and I'd appreciate any info that y'all are willing to share. I'm looking to build a fairly stout 12v for a diesel conversion in the near future. I have no past experience with diesels, but I've done quite a bit of studying. Here's my plan...96 - early 98 12v with 215hp pump, kdp fix, F1 Spartan billet cam kit, Hamilton pushrods, Hamilton valve springs & retainers, O-ringed, ARP head studs, #0 plate ( or plate removed...any advice? ), modded AFC, 4k gov. spring, DDP dv's, 0.093" lines, DDP Stage 4 (140hp) injectors, FASS 150 supply pump, S362/S475 twins (wastegated at 70psi), Banks Twin-Ram intake, Snow Performance Stage 2 water/methanol injection, 5" downpipe, and 5" straight pipe exhaust. My goal is 500-600hp & 1200-1300ft/lbs. This truck will be my primary transportation. I know I'm probably just dreaming, but I'd like to get better than 16mpg. Is that at all possible with this setup? Thanks in advance for any input. As I said, I'm new to the whole diesel world, so your advice is greatly appreciated.

i hope your wallet is as big as your dream list. scratch the 093 lines on the street truck. those are for drag racers only. you can get pretty good injectors for alot less money if you search around (most people will say sdx). IMO i would take an airdog 2 over a fass 150 due to the foam and bad fuel return and whatnot. twin ram intakes are seeming to prove to be a waste of money for how expensive they are with very little power gain. and when you get to that power level its very hard to maintain it as primary transportation. the more power you get the more things there are to start breaking and going wrong

Thanks for the input guys. Keep the advice coming. I recently inherited quite a bit of money, so I could make this thing happen. I just can't decide if I want to dump all of the money into my "dream truck", or play it safe. Sounds like I'll definitely be switching to Air Dog for my plans. I'll look into the SDX injectors compared to the DDP's. Honestly, I didn't expect to gain much from the twin-ram intake. It just looks really cool. My plans for the tranny are...NV4500 w/ fully splined mainshaft & 1 3/8" input shaft and a SB double disc cluth. Thanks for the tip on the injector lines. If they won't benefit me, I'm not buying them.

ok IMO you don't need that big set of twins to hit 500hp ... a hx35 over a 3b could easly do it.

or you could choose single life with 64mm or a 66mm charger.

ya for the price i would get a big single turbo if your not pulling any thing heavy its cheaper and i know alot of guys that put down more than 500 with a single. if you want check out jeff argo on youtube he got 608rwhp on a single
