I have a pyro, boost and trans temp gauges...I started with those first now trying to do more upgrades.. I need a tranny but cant afford to do it like i really want to .. But ohh well ill get to it soon. Are there diff size govenor springs out there? and if so what would you suggest?

100- 120 bucks depending on if you get the 3,000 rpm springs or the 4,000 springs.

I will say the 5k springs are a blast on the street. way more fun than the 4ks

id stick with 3ks as your head needs to be done to handel any higher than 3200.

oh yes they are. i love my CDS 5k. i like the touchier throttle and better bottom end.

id recommend a 4k set on the light side. then after that, get some 215 sticks. that can still get hot with your stock charger. get some air then you can throw more fuel at it.

Will I have to have anything done to the head to use the 4k springs?

if you plan on turning over 3200 rpm a lot than yes otherwise no

just get some 60lb valve springs and you will be good.

gains for 3k springs are you will now have fuel to 3k rather than 2400 or so. i still say go with a 4k set on the light side. wont fuel too high for you and leaves room to grow.
