i always though better #'s attracted people. Better on fuel and creates plenty of power sounds better than it rides nice, its a diesel, theyre loud and naturally not smooth.

Pics always help too, i won't be doing the tranny work now but next time it needs an oil change ill get to it. As long as its not too much i could use them.

Better numbers DO attract people; find me another truck back in the 90's (besides the higher torqued Powerstrokes) that had similar torque. NOTHING.

Look at modern trucks. The new 6.4 powerstrokes put out like 650lbs of torque. With a Spartan tuner are putting out over 500hp and 1000lbs of torque. With JUST a tuner! Thats some real hidden potential right there!

And as far as diesels being naturally loud, I tend to agree. Nothign wrong with that! BUT there is such a thing as "noise pollution" and the damn liberals are cracking down on it. Changing the types of injectors and firing methods cuts down on a lot of noise. listen to a new diesel; you can barely tell they are running for crying out loud (its embarassing)

Till they beat you by 200hp on the dyno.

I dissagree with your statement on numbers not attracting people, if that were true than why are dodge, ford, and chevy constantly upgradeing to make more power than the other guy?

I tried to post the picture, but the only way seems to by hosting it, and I'm not setup for that. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.
