3k govenor springs

how much time would this take like an hour or two just wondering and its just on the side of the pump just turn it over right

for your first time it should only take maybe an hour n a half. it took me that long because i was extremely cautious getting the shims out, but it really isn't that bad. pull the plug out of the side of the pump, replace 1 side, then roll the motor til u see the other spring n change it. what kit did u get? it should have instructions with it.

Also, there is a discussion here that also has written instruction of going thru the side....
I've yet to try it myself, but I will, eventually.

I suggest buying 2 heater grid gaskets, before you attempt it though....

Just for your information. Not all pumps have shims under the springs.
