mad glowshift

hi just letting every one know that i got one of the 3-in-1 gauges b,t,t and I installed it and it would not turn on so called them and they said to send it back and they would repair it or replace it. I told the guy that I had appointment at the dyno and need the gauge back by Thursday so he just said that's not going to happen. so I'm going to send it back get refund all so he said there is a 20% restocking fee if the gauge is not broken. ( you want to bet that they say it's not broken ) just be careful thees gauges are cheep and made in twain . go with the autometers I should have and will never buy there junk again.

Not to be a jerk, but there are a ton of threads on here talking about glowshift products. A few guys get them to work. If you read between the lines, you could reasonably imply that a lot of others can't...

And, that's actually too bad. Wish they were more reliable. They have a unique product line for a good price. But... they have to work and be accurate, otherwise why bother. We're not ricers. We depend on actually knowing the point where our engines will melt down in order to run them hard.

idk ive been running glowshifts for over 2 years with nothing but awesome results. i even swapped out my egt guage with my bros pyrometer to double check my temps. the glowshift guage was right on the money for the autometer guage. and the 7 le lights are cool, and i think its alot more responsive than my bros autometer to. i can see if your doing nothing but racing and pulling where youe egts are on the verge of melt down, expensive guages would be better. but just having a daily driver, the glowshifts do a good job of just keeping an eye on things, like i said, my pyro was dead on with autometer, and more repsonive i think. i understand autometers and that are better quality, guages such as iss pro are good, but they act like there selling gold bars to people, there not worth what they want. and if you buy the glowshift ELITE series. they are accually alot more high tech and use Swedish stepper motors and all the guages are electrical. just my $.02

i like them, and have good luck and feel fine with them. some people just feel that the more money you shell out your getting a better product.

Default glowshift

well I bought a set of these year or so and they had problems to but i was willing to give them a second chains but the same thing more faulty gauges and after the rep. telling me there was no way to help me unless I sent it back and they repair it. He also said that I can buy a new one and send old one back my cost on shipping for there bad gauge and if it was bad thy will give me my money if not it would be sent back. then i would have to @##$@# to deal with. all I'm saying is autometer has been around a long time has proven quality and I should have went with them first just remember when you buy some thing that's a lot cheaper than every thing else on the market its cheap for a reason

i have been using 5 of the glowshift gauges for 5 years now and they work great and look good, i romp the crap out of my truck and manage to virbrate the rear view mirror off the windshield a few times a year with my radio and the gauges take the abuse and still keep workin, i just bought two more for the windshield pod and they work great also

im with dan33klein on this one, autometer is nice but way pricey and for a dd glowshifts work great

Mine work great also. Only prob I have is that my egt gauge will peg out sometimes while cruising on the 4 lane. It does it almost everyday but it only lasts for a few seconds. Probably something in the wiring. For the most part they seem to be a good product for a very good price.
