i am from Canada and I own a 5.9 litre 05 I bought the truck with a fd up injector turned out to be a idoit didn't know how to take care of the truck and fried the piston rings so I called around its gonna cost me 500 to rebore all 6 cylinders and then 1700 to get new pistons piston rings bearing the works if u want to know a good place to order stuff like that matt go onto sinisterdiesel.com and ya it will cost a bit of money to do it if u cant afford to maintan a diesel then don't buy it simple as that and yes its coming from a 22 yr old

If it is a 2002 or older 24v might have dropped the dowel pin into the gear train, take valve cover off check all rockers, as you turn motor over, if you see nothing out of wack pull oil pan check main bearing rod bearings,, and lower cylinders, if you see nothing out of wack pull front cover, if still nothing pull head. head, and check cylinders.
