Default boost question

just wondering what kinda numbers others are running. when i stab it pretty good i'am only around 15 or 18. i put in a bhaf filter aweek ago and went up a little. i know boost does not exactly mean more power but i think i should be around 20 or 25. i got a boost elbow and can not see a crimped line or see any boot leaks. truck runs great and just puts out a haze of smoke when getting on it. just thought it should be a little higher than that.

Thats all they run stock. And the boost elbow you have is probably set to 20psi. Buy an adjustable boost elbow and set it to 35psi and call it a day.

Nope the one that comes with the fuel plate isn't adjustable (ask me how I know..). Go to ebay and type in boost elbow. Look for the one that is adjustable

Here you go. 16$ shipped

yeah i was really wanting about 25 28ish just to be safe with the stock head set up. does upgrading injectors create much more cylinder pressure? just want to go with 75hp. my 92 5 speed is going to be my real hp project down the road as mods are spendy and money on trees in my yard are not blomming yet!!!!
