not true , the after market manifold will decrease back pressure , makes the engine breathe and run better, decreases the chance of blowing a head gasket , spools the turbo faster and lowers the egt's , and has been known to increase fuel mileage in most cases. the fact that it Increases Air Flow and decreases Boost pressure is a win win situation. often times performance bombs do not increase the longevity of your engine ... in this case it does.

after market intake and exhaust manifolds is a key integral to the proper safe bombing of your diesel.

the manifold is warped. the guy who had the truck before us pulled 26k all the time running hot shot. he drove it hard, and put it up hot, caused it to warp. suprised it aint cracked

i just put mine on 2 days ago with my phatshaft turbo. seems like a good unit but have only put about 100 miles on it so far. i noticed zero performance out of it, but thats just a judging by the seat of the pants thing. definitely seems nicer than the factory manifold though

Just put mine on this afternoon didn't really see any performance change at all but when easing into it on the interstate building speed it did cool egt's by about 150* which is way awesome. And it looks pretty sick under the hood also. I put 2 or 3 coats of the black exhaust manifold paint on mine ran it to about 1700* for 2 seconds baked paint on looks slick. Lol only got about 12 miles on it but gonna drive about 4oo miles tomoro so i'll find out if it helps mileage

Biged681985, not sure if you went with the DPS exhaust manifold or not, but if you still need one or something else drop me a pm. I have a close relationship with DPS and can get you a great deal! By the way, I have been to their factory and seen the parts being manufactured. Despite, what the untrue rumors started by their competitors say, they are great products and are made in America.
