Question I Think My Airdog Is Going Bad

the fuel pressure is jumping from 20 to 30 psi i have a needle valve before the sending unit my truck has lost power
was boosting 52 psi now cant hit 30psi
i used to peg the pyro now it wont hit 1200
and it wont spin over 2200 i have a 3k kit in it


any opinion is welcome

How long has it been since you changed your filter?

since ennis i called airdog they told me to check connections that its sucking air ive checked all connections all tight

when my harness comes in, i will drive over to your house an we will put mine on an see what it does, then you can call airdog an tell them ~~

Why would you have a needle valve in a fuel pressure gauge on an AirDog?.

With an electric fuel system a needle valve is not needed and could be the cause of your gauge jumping around.It may not be a problem with the pump at all just with how you have the gauge installed.You say you just changed a filter and if the gauge line with the needle valve assembly ends up with air in it your turning the pump on could cause it to act like your describing.

I may be out to lunch but a simple filter change to me and there is pressure loss says somethinge else is up.I have seen electric pumps go bad but not aftewr a filter changemunless they were showing signs before the swap.
