Default TC switch

Did i put my swich in wrong because when i flip the switch it puts it into the highest gear is that how its suposed to work. I thought it was suposed to just lock it up into whatever gear it was in. Also if i am going slow and lock it up because the motor isnt spining fast dosnt that mean its not spining the trans pump fast enof to make pressure on the clutches. So without alot of pressure it would be slipping the clutches right correct me if i aint right. Also i found a wire on my fire wall on the drivers side that says PTO i traced the wire back to the computer. What is this wire for.

the pto wire is for a truck with a power take off and you didnt hook somthhing up right here is a link to how to hook it up
http://www.tstproducts.com/Torque%20...p%20Switch.pdf
hope that helps you
and to your question no the clutches arent slipping if the gears feel strong then you are good throttle pressure really controls how long the truck stays in that gear but does have some effect on clutch hold

Or you hooked it to the OD solenoid line instead and when you flip the switch it shifts into OD and the computer still controls lockup. If you don't ever feel another shift after you flip the switch, then you probably got the right one.

I could be going 30 and flip the swich and the truck bogs down and wont shift any more bc its in the highest gear is that how the switch is suposed to work.

No its like i could be in second gear and flip the switch with the o/d on and it will put it into o/d its like it will skip all the gears in between and just keep it in the top gear.
