Default Glow Shift Gauges?

Usually I'm an Autometer guy in my modern vehicles, and Stewart-Warner in my old ones, but looking for a combo deal for this truck. I had Isspro's in my last truck and I hated them. I just like a clean looking set of gauges that are visible day & night, and don't stand out or clash with the interior.

I've seen the Glow-Shift gauges, and damn if I can't find a better deal out there for 3-gauges and the pillar pod as a combo.

So what's the story on these gauges? Are they junk? How's the included hardware? Any problems? I've seen "glow-shift" in alot of signatures, and would like some opinions on them before I commit to buy. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah I've always used the AM Ultra-Lite's myself. They look great and have a solid reputation. The Glow-Shift just seems like mass-produced Chinese made stuff, but I wanted to know if they were worth the $200 they are asking for the 3-gauges and pillar pod with free shipping.

For 3 Autometer Ultralites and a full pillar pod, I'll be over $300 before shipping.

I guess $100 difference ain't bad for piece of mind though

The only thing good about Glowshift is they sell A pillar pods for cheap.

i have heard as much as 400*difference in temp between glowshifts and good name brand gauges, and 400* is enough to melt something down!and i have a friend with a stock 24v with a 75hp chip on it,and his glowshift boost gauge shows him to build 30psi in first gear by like 2000 rpm's and i don't see that!!!
