ok, maybe this is wishful thinking but i finally popped my silencer ring out this weekend. after 2 days of driving it and keeping my eyes on things i'd almost swear that removing it has lowered my EGT's by almost 100*. theoretically, i could maybe see this happening but i can't convince myself that it is.

does anyone have any proof of this or is my imagination getting broader?

hey at least i'm not claiming it added 100 butt-horsepower.

 

When I took my resonator off the top of my intake I was badly wanting more turbo whistle to the affect that I could swear I was hearing more.

 

just drill a couple 1/2" holes in that big shiny pipe going in the turbo. you'll get your whistle then.
