Default hx40 question

ok guys i have no idea if this belongs here or not but hopefully someone can answer my question. i know the hot things for the h1c's and hx35's and stuff is the compressor wheel upgrade. does anyone know if people do that to an hx40 as well? i dont even know what size wheel is on my turbo right now and would like to look into upgrading.

its just a standard hx40 8 blade. NOT the super hx40. i would prefer not to buy a whole new turbo, but i might upgrade it depending on the price.

Selecting the best turbo for your application is a matter of choosing the right turbo for your intended power level and your intended i figured if you read this on hx40 you could figure out what you need to upgrade yours

i didnt see anything about upgrading compressor wheel sizes or anything like that. i dont even know if people upgrade those like they do with the 35's to make like a 35/40 hybrid

if you have an 8 blade it will not move as much air as a 6 blade, and it's probably 56mm,if you go on ebay they have 6 blade 60mm wheels for the hx40,i would get one of those, they are like 80 dollars.

will i have to machine clearance for it or do you know if itll fit stock? and how hard is it just to change the wheel. do you just pull that front bolt off and it slides right off?

Compressor Wheel Holset HX40 60.00mm Ind 86.00mm Exd : eBay Motors (item 180447193326 end time Mar-19-10 10:05:17 PDT)

is this what i need or something different? how hard was it to install it. could you do it with the turbo still on the truck or do you need the take the exhaust housing off the turbo first
