Default Bigger housing on stock hx35?

Would it be beneficial to get a larger housing for my stock hx35? Is there such a thing? What would be a good housing to support the mods in my sig, plus possibly stage I or II sticks in a few mos?

Matt

Pretty sure someone just asked this question yesterday ... a quick search and most of the time you will find answers to your questions

you will benefit with the bigger housing, say a 14cm, but the 14cm WG housings are pricey, or you could get a non gated housing for alot less money. Lag will be just a tad more than the 12cm currently on there or even more if it is a 9cm(auto). A hybrid turbo is a better upgrade as you will get a bigger compressor wheel also.

Is there a downside to getting a non gated 14cm housing? What benefits would a 14cm housing yield?

no boost control, except for your foot!!!! 14cm will help move more exhaust out and be lass restrictive.

the wast gate controls the boost, if there is no wastegate then boost just keeps building as long as you are giving it enough fuel too, alot of older turbo diesels didnt have a wastegate cause they didnt pump enough fuel to over boost the engine coming from the factory
