Default Compound with a stock HX35?

Can you compound with your stock turbo? if so what would be a good one to use? And if not what would hold you up?

alot of people run an hx35/ht3b combo. upgrades after that go to like an s300/ht3b or hx40/ht3b combo. ht3b's are often swapped out to s400 or s480's or sometimes hx60's as well. but the ht3b is the most common large turbo used

if it was alot more people would do it. your looking at 2 to 3 times that. a decent large turbo will run you anywhere from 700-1200 bucks.

the absolute cheapest piping period i have found is like 1200. most kits for just piping run 2000 on up

doing it really cheap your lookin at around 2k or so

thats not that bad. I was thinking that there was a surplus of ht3b or s300's cuz it was on something from factory. I was mistaken, but the power gain most be good for that kinda bread right??

you can find used ht3b they came off big rig semis but theyre pretty hard to come by. s300's are mostly all aftermarket and cost a pretty penny as well. but it is a very nice upgrade

We also a source to get everything needed to add a turbo to your HX35. Our kit also makes it easy to replace your HX35 down the road with something like a 62mm or 64mm turbo.

I now have a set on mine with a stocker over 3B, works good and 600hp can be had out of a set, but mainly they are good for daily driver and towing.

if you look around you can find a good used ht3b for around 500 bucks and if you can do fab work you can get the kit built for about a grand if not less. i did a set for my brother for his birthday and i only had 780 into the kit from start to finish.
