Ya I still need to find the injector pump . Isn't the inj pump where the fuel plate goes? (inj pump and lift pump the same thing?)

Ah ok I just saw the inj pump on an ebay auction; thats where the fuel plate goes? Or does the fuel plate go in the life pump.

The boost elbow is just a little brass fitting right? Does the boost elbow help a lot?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

So where can I find a write up or even better pictures to install the boost elbow? How do you tune the boost elbow, since it has an adjustment screw?

screw the allen head in and out to make the boost rise or fall.

Trace the wastegate line back to the afc on top of the injector pump, thats where the boost elbow instills.

ahhh so thats where everybody is telling me to limit boost to 35psi then right? I'll need a boost gauge to fine tune that pretty much

If I dont use a boost gauge to tune it I could push 40-50psi (just an example) and not even know it? Or does the boost elbow only up it by a few psi?

the stock turbo compressor is still on the map up to 35psi, after that all you are doing is blowing hot air into your engine.

Yes you could pust 50 psi with the stocker and that is why you need a guage, they tend not to last too long at that pressure. When adjusting the boost elbow you will have to turn it some then go for a drive till you like where it is set at. Or hook and air supply up to it and adjust it that way

Ohhh hook a compressor up to it then tune it disconnected from the truck? Good stuff. But I'd have to screw it some, drive, check boost, and make the right adjustments. So I'm assuming that by merely adjusting the boost elbow I CAN tune it to 35psi right?
