What size fuel plate fits me? I'm thinking a 0 or 10?

it al depends on your truck and pump you have.
i have a 215 pump with a 10#
and my buddy has a 160 pump with no plate at all.
and mine will dump twice the fuel his will. even though according to the plates his should fuel harder

Which pump do I have? The prev owner knows, I'll have to text him tomorrow if nobody knows.

I've read about the afc tuning.. I'm going to have to make a thread on that I think

1250* egt's aren't bad. Thats very sustainable

So the boost elbow is just a little brass fitting right? The ebay shop says something like 270hp and 650lbs of torque from just the fuel plate and boost elbow. Seems fishy to me..

your truck is a 96 so its either a 180 or a 215
if its an auto its a 180
if its a 5spd its a 215.
and about your egts. check for boost leaks and clean your filter.
if you have a 5spd with the 215 it dumps alot more fuel than a 180.
it wont be hard to soar your egts. youll need to look into a turbo soon

if yours is a 97 manual than its a 215.
dont make a thread. i can find you one that has alot of info with a full write up with pictures. and you dont want to hold egts past 1250* thats when the alluminu8m pistons melt. and boost elbows just restrict the boost to the wastegate accuator which holds the wastegate closed aloowing the turbo to keep spooling for more boost. it will give you more boost along with more power to a certain extent. the stock turbo is only efficient to about 35psi. also take into consideration that with a 215 pump it will flow alot of fuel, so a new turbo might be in the near future for you anyways if you wanna keep egts within a good range

you can tune it and i bet it will decrease some..... 1250 aint bad.... i can spike the hell out of my 1500* gauge at 3/4 throttle.... just dont run it hot for that long and you will be fine

as for a fuel plate just grind your own to a 100 do a search and you can find the pictures on what it should look like and it 30 bux cheaper than the ebay plate
