hey guys, i have a brand new holset hx 40 to use as my top turbo for my twins.
it came with a 7 blade compressor wheel.
i did some research and found out its a 60mmIx86mmx
my question is, does anybody know anyone that makes upgraded wheels?
would going down to a 6 blade or up to a 8 blade help?
im honestly wondering if anyone makes a wheel to whistle more
like for example how they have that upgraded banks wicked wheel for the powerstroke turbo to make them whistle more, plus for anti surge.
i just didnt know if i could have a better wheel. let me know!

Leave it alone and get the cover pinned and you will be fine.
In a twins set-up the whisle out of the pipe comes from the bottom charger anyway and the top charger can not be heard.
P.S.-By pinning the cover I mean flip your HX40 over and look at the back of it(compressor side)and you will see the cover is held on by a snap ring which runs around it.Where the ends of the snap ring are you have a machinest make you a set of pins to ensure that snap ring does pop out under heavy boost like they are known to and blow the cover off.
