Default settle this once and for all for me

alright im settling this right now, if i move my plate forawrd and maxout my starwheel and cut my foot and all that afc tuning stuff, will i make more than THAN takin out my plate, gutin my afc and stretchin my overflow valve spring out to 5/8? once and for al for me, what way makes MORE power, put aside egts, boost, ect, what makes more HP and torque in the end?

air makes the hp and torque in the end.

The question you asked is very open ended, lots of things can alter your hp and torque numbers.

I would think without the plate it would make more power but it wouldnt be as efficent as with a plate.

many argue that a 0 plate FF is the same as no plate. no plate will yield max rack travel. more travel more fuel. but more fuel is nothing with out air. and its all about tuning. and there isnt any for sure tune set ups, atleast not any someone that spent the money for a day on the dyno will come off of... until then there's just home brew suggestions

i run no plate and a tuned afc now.. b4 i had no plate and gutted just bc of the smoke but then i realized that a smokey truck is a slow truck... the faster ur turbo spools the faster ull b so u want the fuel on the top end. low boost fuel does nothing but make smoke and heat

No plate and gutted afc, makes more of a top end power range, if you run a plate and a tuned afc, you will have a more eficient truck along with a broader power band.
