Default New 5inch

I just put on my new flow pro turbo back 5inch from mighty diesel and its sick. There is only one little problem i am haven trouble making the sprare tire fit under there without touching the pipe. It fits under there but the tire hits and i am worryed about it melting the rubber. Will the pipe get that hot? And i am open to any opinions or advice thanks

you could mod the exhaust pipe with a hammer or adjust your exhaust hangers to give some additional clearance. or you could go for the baja look and mount the tire in the bed

Wrap some heat wrap around the part that hits the spare tire. You will be fine.

I wouldnt imagine it getting hot enough to melt your tire but as stated above move the hangers a little bit or put some heat wrap on it. What size tire is your spare?

Yes, it will get hot enough to do some damage to your tire.

If your putting it in the bed - make sure you secure it because it can be a dangerous projectile if you get into an accident.

Man i moved the hangers and stuff and it still dont fit so next thing is to move the tire winch back and hopefully that will fix the problem.
