garret exhaust housing specs comapred to regular
ok guys, garret turbos measure the exhaust housing by a/r.
how do you convert that to cm? just to get an idea of the size id be comparing one too.
such as a .63a/r
and a 1.06 a/r
how would you get an idea on how to picture than in cms?
thanks. ill pry also post in powerstroke section because they run garrets

7cm2 = 0.49 A/R
8cm2 = 0.57 A/R
9cm2 = 0.65 A/R
10cm2 = 0.73 A/R
11cm2 = 0.81 A/R
12cm2 = 0.89 A/R
14cm2 = 0.97 A R
15cm2 = 1.05 A/R
16cm2 = 1.13 A/R
17cm2 = 1.29 A/R

This is a guide that was sent to me to go by from one of my friends who runs turbo WRX's after we had a chat about A/R to CM conversions.This will help a little bit until he sends me the actual formula for the conversion for you which I emailed him about today.......Andy
