Dan...
Why would you sell your hybrid and go to a Garrett charger thats the same size?.
If you wanted to go larger up top you should have went to a GT3788R Stage 3 or up to the GT4088R.
Personally, with what I learned when I had my GT3788 stage 3 I would have told you to just go to the GT4088 and been done with it.Unless you do some port work there is way to much restriction in the exhaust housing on the smaller Garretts and you will end up with more drive pressure than you had with the HX35 hybrid.

i sold my hybrid because i payed 250 for it and sold it for 650. i wasnt going to pass it up.i was going to have to dump money into the exhaust side of my hybrid cause my drive pressure was too high with the 12cm housing. therefore i got a sweet deal on the 35 ball bearing. and no, the exhaust side of my garret is a 1.06a/r which is quivelent to about 15.5cm. coming off the chart YOU gave me. so drive pressure WILL BE less. it will breath better along with an external gate and a new manifold. so with all that being said i personally believe i made a good choice by switching the turbos. plus a holset turbos sound cant even compare to a garrets. that was part on the reason andy.
