Default DDP or SDX or What???

I'm building my 95 Ram for about 350-400hp. I got a Super B turbo, 4" exhaust, 3k springs, #100 plate, 16* timing. I had planned on 215 injectors, but now am now thinking bigger. At first I was planning to get DDP stage IIs, but I was just looking at the SDX 5x12s for less money. They seem to get great reviews too, but I'm thinking they may be a little too much fuel and the DDP might be a better choice.

Don't want much smoke, just horsepower. Can anybody compare the DDPs to the SDXs?

so your going to pay twice the cost to get less fuel?

give chris @ SDX a call 479 799 3953, He fixed a set for me and they run very well.

Considering that the DDPs dont require cores and that the SDXs do, the 75hp DDPs would acutually cost me less than the 90hp SDXs. I know for comparisons sake I should be comparing 90hp to 90hp, but I'm more looking for the best injector and the right amount of fuel, at not necassarily the best price.

My bigger issue is: I'm also restoring a boat, and I want twin diesels, but my wife hates diesel smoke on a boat. But if I can prove that I can build a clean buring diesel engine, then I'll get much less grief about putting diesels in the boat.

Well i have never ran DDP injectors so I can not compare the two, but the SDX's were 10x better than the II sticks I had before.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they recommend.

On a side note, I've been tryin to get a hold of somebody at Mid Atlantic for the last couple of weeks. Been by a couple of times, left a couple of messages, but no response. Any idea what it takes to reach them? I wanted to see if they can do a Goerend trans for me.

Not super familliar with SDX, but for the money, probably a decent product from what i hear, DDP's are very good, might have a little lower egt's and less smoke with the DDP's.

Lloyd is a very busy guy, and he is also a Goerend trans dealer. I've messaged him on Comp D and facebook about dyno time and he always got back to me. The number on his web site is his cell number, if you already left him a message I don't know why he has not gotten back to you.

Home here is his site

and is this the number you called, 240 818-2973?

im running sdx 5x.014's and love them. my turbo is a stock hx35 with the small exhaust housing on it, and once i start to build boost, it clears up.

i just recentl put the stock fuel plate back in, full forward, and i just have a lil smoke at 0 boost. hope this helps ya
