i made mine..... it was a super 40 wheel and comp on a HX35 with a 14cm housing and i banks big head wastegate at 38...... sold it and now im making another one... they are a great upgrade....
your htt one that was mentioned was 400 and 50 for a core charge..... thats just the wheel and comp housing.... you can find the wheel on ebay for 40 bucks and im looking to see how hard machining the comp housing would be or you can find a blown up 40 and use the wheel and housing.....

So I'm pretty clueless on chargers (on how they're put together, understand the sizing and everthing). What I'm wondering is what's required to put together and hx35/40 hybrid? If I came across a cheap 40 would that be what the charger is built on? Am I too far off base here.
Sorry for jacking the thread, I've looking around the other forums and not having much luck, in the 15 minutes I looked here I figured more out so I thought I would chime in.

when you change the compressor wheels do you have to have the internals rebalanced? and when you put the hk40 wheel on the hx35 center section do you have to do any machining to the hx40 compressor housing to get it to fit right? does anybody run a t6 turbo? i am planning a build in my head of a p-pump motor with a garrett gt47-88 on it and i was wondering if it would work. what would i have to do to get a trubo like that to spool? the turbocharger has an 88mm inducer wheel and an a/r ratio of .96 any input would be very helpful
