Default Exhaust manifold

Just had a rookie mistake with puting the EGT temp sensor in was told that it needed to be set in manifold and so I looked at the manifold and desided to put it right in the center of the colector. So I started drilling not with any nolage that I was drilling smack dab in the center of the cast iron spliter. Now I'm left with a manifold that is not going to work. but on the bright side it get a nice new ats manifold but still am pist I made such a bone head mistake should of known on every turbo it has a split in the colector. just thought you guys could get a laugh out of my stupid mistake or for newbys looking to instal EGT gauge what not to do

The only reason I didn't make the same mistake on my first EGT gauge install is only because I must have read 100 posts on the issue. It's more common than you might think...
On the bright side though, you got a better exhaust manifold now anyway!

I didn't do it, but only because I read so many posts.
I would do as suggested above and put a brass plug in it.
Or buy a new manifold LOL...excuses excuses Wooot.
