Just got the ats manifold in and set the pump timing to 16 degrees and had it dynoed it only spun 225hp with 588 torque not what I was aiming for. Looking for some extra hp but needs to not spike my egt temps thinking of injecters and a set of gov springs

Don't put all your faith into one dyno session.....dyno's aren't the end all and just about everyone is different. You want the truth head to the drag strip and run a few passes and get a base line MPH and have the truck weighed that night. That will tell you how much power you REALLY have.
