Default GSK Springs

I have been reading some stuff about guys pulling a spring out of the 4K kit so they get the low end fueling of the 4K but it only revs to 3200 or so...kinda of a best of both worlds for a DD. Any more info on this?

W/ the 4k it will rev to 4k pretty easy, I know mine does, but it all depends on how much air and fuel you have. You could have a 5k gsk in there an only see 3k if you dont have air and/ or the fuel to get up there. Also, the way you setup your GSK makes a difference.

I've heard that if you pull the small middle spring out of a 4k kit it will make it a 3k kit, but I haven't heard anything about it affecting low end fueling. Might depend on what kit you get?

Right....the smallest spring in the kit makes it a 4K kit.... Pacbrake has only one kit and you either put the small spring in for the 4K or not for the 3K. I was reading on anotehr site about pulling the next bigger spring or the one bigger than it but I didn't know if anyone here knew about it.
