is a hx 50 to big for a street driven daily driver? could have one really cheap.

 

IMO yes, there are much better choices for a turbo out there

 

hx50= LAG *****... it would work good in a twin setup... but just a single.. you would have to be pushing a LOT of fuel to spool that thing.. fill out your sig so we know what you all have done to your truck

bro you will need alot more than that to spool that turbo imo a 62/74/14 would be a decent suggestion for u also get some injectors

 

i goin to get 5x14 injectors and 191dvs and i already have a airdog150 that isnt installed yet. just waiting on extra cash flow for the turbo and a buddy of mine will sell me his hx50 dirt cheap. he also has a super b but it needs rebuilt.

 

i would get the super b and find a rebuild kit for it

 

assuming yall are talking about the 22cm housing ones... the only way to make a hx50 very streetable is to get the 14cm exhaust housing. (making it from a 67/78/22 to a 67/78/14)
