yeah. i run mostly pure water in mine, im just looking to get the egt "cooling effect"
not so much the "power" effect. im running alot of power. i can be cruising at 70mph running 700* and flip my override switch and shell cool down to about 500/475* on a dime. i call that worth it. and it helps alot when towing a heavy load. cause you can stay in the throttle, keep your turbos spooling, and still maintain some pretty good egts.
i think its well worth the money. check out AIS(alcoholinjectionsystems.com) call up and ask for Rodney he will get you hooked up according to all your mods and hp ratings and boost ratings. hell tell you exactly what sizes and that you need for YOUR motor. not a motor in general. hope this helps good luck

like dan33klein said, the nozzle size needs properly matched to your fueling level for the desired effect. Running too big of a nozzle or too many nozzles(s) is a common mistake. More water does not necessarily mean more power/cooling. Regardless, you need a big tank, at least 5 gal if you tow, even with a low end stock-rated system. Otherwise it probably doesn't matter too much if you're not towing with it and spraying with the turbo spooled for long periods.
