i blew a head gasket and now have studs i wish i would have had the extra money at the time of repairs to have it o ringed its the only way to go

and no that i'm trying to get twins water/meth and nitris

i really hate thinking about the decision and what i have to do over again and truck down time head gasket etc.....

live and learn save up and do it right the first time

or do what i do learn from mistakes , have a bunch of funn, and waste more money because i didnt have enough in the first place

Washing a cylinder is when you have a injector issue and the cylinder is filled with more fuel than it can burn, thus it ends up being pushed down the cylinder walls past the rings and into the crankcase. It will cause premature failure of your rings and will cause them to score the walls also. Most times on a 12v its done because a injector tip has been broken off or blew off and the sparay pattern gets compromised severly.

When you have a coolant issue in the cylinders and it either will not start or while its running it fills the cylinder and bends a connecting rod thats considered "hydraulicing" a cylinder.

Either one is bad and if they happen they will lead to a rebuild.

so if you are building more that 35 psi of boost and do not have head studs you are on borrowed time with you motor and how would you be able to tell if you are washing the cyclinder and are o ringed and fire ring head gaskets the same?
