just curious as to what fuel plate cut is best. got a straight pipe and eveything else is stock. im gonna get a egt guage before i do it but was just wonderin what you guys thought. my truck is a daily driver that never pulls anything(plan on buildin it up and drag racin and maybe sled pullin[need lower gearing to do that]) but its a ext cab long bed dually auto 4x4

100 is the best and smoothest plate out there!

 

I dont think his tranny can handle a 100 yet. if he did use a 100 he'd have to take it easy with it.

 

I ran a #4 before I built mine and loved it. mine was a 5spd, im pretty sure your auto wont handle a 4

 

autos can handle half of what a stock clutch can handle, he will toast his tranny with anything hotter than a 12, i know a guy that is toasting his tranny with a 10 plate

 

He may have good luck, some autos are stronger than others. I had a buddie that ran no plate in an auto and it held together. You could make the tranny handle if you papaw it

 

it all depends on his driving habbit, i seriously doubt it will hold together for long, once it starts slippin thats a bad thing, i would beef the tranny up firts to what you know your going to have performance first, then end of worries, my budy ran his truck with a slippin tranny for a year and all the shavings and debris took out the trany

 

I would suggest a nice converter and valve body and the tranny will hold but if his driving habits are like mine even that wont hold.My sisters CR goes through a tranny a year, gotta love the smarty revo/tnt
