Default KDP fixed?

is there anyway to tell if the KDP has been fixed?

im not by the truck right not, is there anything that needs to be removed to take the cover off?

radiator intercooler fan shroud fan bumper core support i think thats all

And tensioner!I think. I have a 4bt,but its the same front engine design.

No - on a 12V all that needs to come off is the belt, fan/balancer and the front of the timing cover

all B series engines can have the possibility of the pin falling but the P7100 inline pump has more vibration than the rotary style injection pumps because of this the case rattles more and this is what causes it. hope that helps

The pump doesnt matter at all. I you have a 12V you need to address this. The repair after it falls out can be a few thou$and dollars, depending on what you can/cant do.
