looks nice.. is it enough of a performance gain to be worth it though? i just think if i was going bigger i would go a lot bigger.. by the way will it bolt right up to your stock ex. manifold or will you have to get a new one?

its a good turbo and as far as i know its a simple swap. the only new part you need to buy is an hx40dp. they arent to popular just because they arent as big as the stock hx35. i asked bout the same turbo in this posting. start reading at post 10 and go from there. you might find some answers. https://www.dieselbombers.com/5-9l-1...injectors.html

The T4 adapter plate would be required to bolt up to the manifold, that is they are flogging a turbo from an industrial engine and pawning it off as a B series retrofit turbo.

Truth is there are HX40 turbos available that bolt up from many vendors without any modifications required other than a 4" downpipe.

It is a good turbo. I had one on my '02. I don't know how much of a gain you are looking for. The HX40 is just a small step up and rated at like 30-40hp more. I had the Edge power programmer, the HX40, and an AFE Stage 2. I loved it. I was prolly bumping right at 400hp. Go for it!

This particular turbo has a T4 flange.. Its not going to mate to any exhaust manifold on the B series.

THAT IS NOT A HOLSET TURBO ITS A CHEAP CHINESE KNOCK OFF PEICE OF CRAP!!!

I hope that made it clear. And even if it was a true holset the t4 flange and large exhaust housing that comes with it makes it a door stop at best. Sorry man.
