Just wondering if there are any turbo mods i could do to have my turbo whistle like a 6.0 turbo???

 

Remove the silencer ring will make it whistle more. Why would you want it to sound liek a 6.0? I hate the sound of them. All you hear is turbo

silencer ring already out and i got afe stage 1 cold air. I love the sound of the 6.0 sounds like a jet. wasnt sure if there was anything else i could do. Thanks a bunch for the input

ill just go with out the whistle

 

It just a ford thing. If your wanting to hear more whistle that bad you can put a small hole in the fire wall.

Also sometimes larger chargers whistle louder. But its not always true. My 64/68 is loud but the 66/74 I was running isnt a loud whistle but the sound of lots of air being moved.

 

i guess i should of explained myself better I was talking about the sound coming out of the exhaust

 

her is what you need

1. grey duct tape
2. oscar meyer weiner whistle.
3.tape the wistle at end of pipe.

there ya go, more whistle.

 

that sounds worse then the wistle in the cab, it doesnt even sound like a turbo, sounds like bearings that are shot
