fuel plate
go ahead and run it w/o a plate. the other guy says he's be doing it for a year and a half so why not? although i would also agree with him, get your afc working properly and dial it in... the afc set correctly should do about the same thing as a fuel plate and determine your torque curve. possibly stop or limit that bog... you can set an afc to give you plenty of fuel on take off w/o over doing it.
my mistake; aparently the fuels guru at my college was blowing smoke trying to keep kids from doing it. he said it is possible; but the linkages could come in contact with the governor weights and possibly stick. just going by what i've been told so don't crucify me. but that's exactly it. tune your afc... if you read his sig he's already gutted the afc... just goin by what i know too much fuel at low boost will cause it to bog; that's all
a o plate full foward is tha same thing as running no plate at all
so if i wanted to see how a 0 plate would run on my truck i could just pull the plate??
yes that would show you how a 0 plate FF would act
