The boost gauge, tee into the waste gate hose. Probably going to have to get some more tubing to make it reach. Waste gate is easy to find on the turbo. Or you can get a boost bolt that's nothing more than a bolt that's hollowed out and replaces one of the bolts near the intake horn. Then the trans temp sender, if you already got one, replace it with the new one. If not, have to get some more hardware to tie into the lines.

Actually, thats not totally accurate Bill.

The boost bolt doesnt work on a 12V. There is a 1/8" NPT bolt under the intake horn. It requires a 1/8" NPT fitting X 1/8" tube. The hookup looks like this:

Theres 2 schools of thought on the transmission - some put the sensor in the hot line and some put it directly in the pan. I tend to think the hot line is better because it gives you an idea the hottest temp that the transmission will see.

Did you get the pyrometer installed ok?

You should be able to find the fitting at a hardware store, I don't see why you couldn't find one. As for the trans. probe its pretty simple to plug into the line. Its on the driver, right in front of the skid plate, I believe, and the line has a T in it with a bolt in it. Remove the bolt and insert your probe and tighten it down.

Not on a 98 (thats on the older 12V trucks).

You can put the probe in the pan or you can put it in the hot line (you will need to buy a tee and install it or get the entire replacement line from an older truck).

TEE looks like this: Cooler Line Manifolds at DieselManor

Replacement Line looks like this: DieselManor - Dodge Generation 3 Cooler Line

Im sure any one of our sponsors can get you whatever you need to install your transmission sender. You can request a price quote here: Price Quote - Request A Price - Diesel Bombers
