Where in CA are you? I think that that Sled puller 66 will be too much turbo for you given your mods, and that you could build yourself some twins a lot cheaper. Since it sounds like you have the fab skills, you can get all of the parts, minus the turbos for about $600. They can pretty easily be built in a weekend as well. They will light faster, and clean up the smoke a lot better than the 66. My friend runs a 66/74/16, with a 13mm pump, full cuts, 5x.018's and obviously tuning, and that thing still takes a little while to light. After about 20psi, it spools pretty quick.

Me on the other hand, my 24v jumps from 6-50psi almost instantly. I'd definitely keep thinking about twins. You may also want to consider an s475 for twins if you decide to do them. Better map, newer more efficient design, and if you know where to look you can get a brand new one for under $600.

my new truck has a BHT3B under the stock HX 35(35 has 18 cm housing). The 35 is toast from a weld booger or something but when the 3B lights it's stand back loretta! I will have a new 35 on next week and all the exhaust leaks fixed so then i can see how it does. The plumbing is pretty simple on these twins. It was awfully doggy below 2000 rpm but now i see why. The good news is the pump is flowing enough fuel to light the bottom charger!LOL
