Default Where do I hook in the trans gauge ???

Well I got my gauges in today !! I got the boost hooked up and ran it down the road cause I couldnt wait . The most boost I was able to get from a dead stop was 18 psi . I stil have the stock plate in the stock position though and I know when I move it up my boost should increase ( right ? ) . But what about the trans gauge ? Where the heck does it tie into ? I ordered everything from isspro and it came with a few fittings but I'm still a little confused . Help ..............

There are a few options here. The most accurate place to read temp is in the cooler line running to the cooler. I've seen lines for sale that have a temp sensor port already in them. I can't find a link now, but I'm sure someone will chime in.

The way mine is set up is, I have a Mag-Hytec trans pan that has a sensor port in it. Also, you have the option to drill a hole in the trans pan, and weld a nut that the sensor can thread into.

This is debatable by some but the best place, IMO is in the hot line. I will try to find some pics.

yeah the easiest is the extra ports on the passenger side of the tranny right above the pan

I figured i would thow my .02 in so i can get my first post on this forum, genos and diesel manor sell a adapter that goes around the cooler lines and your sensor screws in to it they say it is accurate +/- 5* or somthing like at 200* IIRC. That is nice because you can put it on your hot cooler line befor it goes through the cooler so you know your hottest temp.

I don't suppose it was figured which is the hot line, was it? Front or rear hose from the tranny? Looking to relocate my trans temp sensor. Thanks.
