Here are some photos of my reworked Trac Bar and my removed Trac Bar...

It took a Pickle Fork Wedge and a BFH (Sledge) to get the Ball Joint out.







I will post more photos as the Project nears completion.

 

Is that the SSI track bar? Just curious. Mine was installed before they had their own and I used the OEM 03 track bar. So far so good for me for at least 3 years now.

 

Nope - Everything else is... the Conversion Bracket and DSS.

The Trac Bar is Original Equipment from Manufacturer = OEM.

Got it from a Salvage Yard for $75. I was going to replace the bushings but these are rock solid.

 

Good find on the Trac bar! I paid close to $250 for one from DC new. Aftermarket wasn't available then.
