this guy i know has a borg warner off of a dt466 international and wants to mod it for my 98 12v. is it worth the mod? he onley wants $200 for the turbo. my stock turbo bearings are shot

DT466 turbo may be an S300 variant, but with the smaller exhaust side turbine. Sounds alot like the one I have now. Mine doesn't have a tag and I think the exhaust turbine is only a 67mm version with a 12cm housing.

 

i heard you have to balance it or something is that true?

it says borg warner on it whats that from? it looks pretty simular to the holset but bigger and has an electric wast gate. will that even be possible?
