The 4" is fine, but it still comes out of the turbo at 3". With the fuel you have/want, a different turbo is needed. I run DDP's and they are a great injector. 370's are cheap, but just aren't the only thing anymore.

Lets see here.....
Stock turbo,DV's,huge fuel plate and big timing and your complaining about the 370's haze and heat.....

Do you see any problem with this deal?????...
From what I see and I have never seen your truck drive but I would guess its laying a cloud of black soot worse than a old steam locomotive did from a bad tune combination. When one adds all this fuel certainly one would think that maybe more air may be needed to help keep the combo cool and make it more efficient.I'd hate to say this and I mean no disrespect by it,but, when I looked in at this thread I seen someone who did alot of internet reading and just threw parts at his truck with zero understanding of what they do or could do for him.At times with these 12v's the internet can be your own worst enemy, especially when one doesn't realize what someone else is doing for power may not work for them due to the entire tune combination.

There is nothing wrong with the 370 Marines and many have made alot of power with them.IMO they are the best bang for the dollar if someone does not want a high end injector, you just have to know what you need to do to make them work with what you have. There are guys who have gone way over 600 to the ground running them and there are some that still do,its all in the tune.As for someone saying he doesn't have enough exhaust,I say BUNK as the factory system, less the cat, will support 500 easily and 600 with a HX40 style downpipe.

Rethink your combination and consider a charger before you go laying out the big cash for a expensive injector, you may get a suprise.........Andy

P.S.-I dug this out for you to read and maybe it will help you some.

Actually just driving my truck down the road it kinda hazes not noticable in the daylight.if I put the hammer down it smokes but not that much. #1 I do read a lot on the internet. Its interesting.
#2 I Don't throw parts at my truck
#3 the combo is not the greatest but I bought it with the nozzels in it, I never been around 370's before. I'm 22 years old I don't know everything. I respect your post, I'm not mad. I'm just trying to see what people had to say that's all.

Dodge hunter even with the 4 inch exhaust it wont bring the egts down that much but thanks for the info that really does help us advice your friend.
Twins. it doesnt matter how old you are im only 18 and ive learned a ton w/ in the 1 (going on 2 years) of being on forums just like this finding out what parts shoudl be on my truck so really thats no excuse. you have so much fuel in that truck that your hazing and blowing smoke everywhere because you have no air period. theres no way aroudn that until u swap the turbo out or d-tune the truck and again i wouldnt upgrade to anything as you have enough fuel already

Ok, I understand I need more air. I realized that after the first couple replies. I wanted to know if there was any upsides to the marine 370 nozzel with not having pistons to go with the nozzels. Yes it gets hot, it really don't smoke like.a freight train, unless you lug it out in 5 gear. I did state it gets hot and smokes. And you guys are right on needing more air. I think the posts kinda got out of the main question. I've been at work all night/morning and I'm tired so I'm taking these posts like ya'll kinda ganging up on me, so its hard not to get a little defensive. I appologize for that, I know yall are just tryin to help and I do appreciate it a lot. When you buy a truck with mods done to it and not knowing every single thing its kinda hard.I didn't throw parts at it. I Bought it because I wanted to get away from my auto and this was already head studded/fire ringed. sorry about the rambleing. Just tryin to make people uunderstand.

theres not really an upside to haveing injectors with the wrong spray pattern ... thats why i said get proper 90hp injectors in there and that may help.. i know your getting annoyed with everyone saying you have no air but thats actually a big part of the equation with any injector
