Default Could Somebody Tell Me What This Is?

It sits on my drivers side, right behind the fuse box. A plug with three wires comes out of it, along with a hose out the top.
Any help on this one?
Thanks

that is your vacuum warning sensor, if vacuum for your power booster would ever fail it will turn a light on in the dash. unplug the vacuum line, turn key on, brake light should show.

That's a good one to know about since that is such a common problem. Do you know what years this is applicable to. Just curious if it still holds true for the 2nd gens to.
