The green was one guy the red and black is a different one. This guy had his listed at 3 different price points including various parts as you went higher. $3000 for no turbo manifold or p pump. $4750 came with more and $5700 was with fuel pump and turbo. I got him to agree to $4700 without his injectors or the fass (he sold the fass already). Driving down Monday on pick the motor up

In my experience buy something that you know is good. I am fairly new to the cummins ad well and did a 12v swap in my 08 f250, I bought a wrecked truck w unknown miles and rebuilt the engine with cam studs, pushrods and all the other go fast goodies but also in less then a year iv had to redo everything, injectors were clogged, inj pump was crap (it ran but not what a stock truck would do, it had no bottom end) fan hub bearings were shot, had to replace starter, and alternator and lift pump, and turbo, it took me a while to figure out alot of the bugs because all the parts that were bad. Iv put almost 5 grand in this truck just fixing all the **** parts so again I'd start with something u know is good. My truck is also lifted w bigger tires crew cab with 1000lbs of tools in the back and can beat stock trucks, I raced a 6.7 w atleast exhaust on the highway the other day and all 3 times I'd pull away till my egts got out of hand but i just have the stock hx35 with 5x12 injs so u can beet stock trucks farly easy I think biggest problem would be keeping egts down. Hey man thanks for the response. Started a truck build now need to start a build thread. Have a motor and a 2005 f250. Transmission is in pieces trying to finish building it this next week when my rebuild kit comes in. Truck is stripped and heading to paint shop this week. Almost ready to mount new engine as soon as tranny is fixed

Sounds like ul have a real nice truck when done. When I did my swap I actually went from auto to the zf6 manual so couldn't help ya there but I think dieselconversion.com or destroked.com sells a retune for ur set up, they sell alot of the conversion piece's but will say alot of the parts they sell with big prices are easly made. O also the ford drive trains are strong and will have no problem holding the power ur looking for. But I will say I got a Detroit tru lock rear diff and that's been one of my favorit upgrades to the truck itself, it really helped the truck hook expessialy in the rain and can sill make tight turns w/o binding

When you did the swap how does a turbo fit in factory location? Did you have to get a different manifold to move it from the AC Evap box
