Default Building an engine for my Excursion...

Currently in the teardown of my 215 pump 12 valve, what kinda RWHP do you guys think it will make with a #100 plate full forward, governor springs, valve springs, a performance manifold, intake manifold, as well as a free flowing filter?

From what I have heard, this pump and injector setup is fairly good. But how much is it good for? Not too interested in a turbo upgrade, but it isn't too far out of my budget if need be for this build. I also have some headbolts that I'm gonna install just incase.

round 300 would be my guess if tuned right.

What is the reason for the rebuild?

with the money spent on a ex and intake manifolds you could nearly afford a turbo as well as intake and exhaust manifolds nearly do nothing. and unless you ex manifold is cracked id just leave it. not sure what your goals are but if you put that it will be far easier to help.and 94 is on point, with stock air your looking at around 300 ish horse and you could easily get too hot with a 215 engine and a stock hx 35.

One of those, "Well since its out of the truck" kind of things. Putting new seals all over it, checking the KDP. I don't think I'm gonna pull the head off.

Do y'all think my existing fuel setup will be good enough if I throw a HX40, or S300 on it?

Was hoping to get to at least 350~400

Trying not to go too big for now, I was thinking of something no bigger than a 62. my wife will be driving it. But once she gets bored with it....
