Default Governor spring issue

I installed 4gsk the other day and my truck is still shifting around 2300 at WOT, if I shift it manually it'll get to higher rpms just not when in drive. Is this normal for an auto.

I think probably 90% of my posts here are saying something to this effect these days, but since nobody else has chimed in yet: sounds to me like your TV cable is out of adjustment. If it was a fueling issue, I don't think it would go over 2300 no matter how you shift it.

I've adjusted the cable in both direction and it hasn't really done anything

The adjustment starts at the tranny end. Regardless, that's all I got. If it spins higher manually than in drive, then IMO the problem isn't the GSK.

I agree I just didn't know if anyone had experienced this, I'll keep adjusting and see if it helps

If it doesn't change anything then it's probably not the problem either, but it's all I got.
