It's not that hard but it is time consuming to do it right. Might be a bit harder on a dodge since I did myn when it was in a Chevy. A little more room up top. But over all the same. Just make sure to label everything. Clean the deck really well. Try not to get any debris into the engine. Also would consider port and polish and valve job while the heads off if future power plans are in the works. Do 60lb springs if not done already. And over build is the key, maybe not o ring or fire ring if it's dd or driven in winter a lot but plan ahead. I went with 625's, well worth the money. Now I can push the cummins hg to the maximum limits and won't have to worry about the studs failing. If you blow the gasket, you pop the head off replace and re do or consider o rings at that point and can re use the 625's as they don't stretch. They also barely require a retorque. Just remember don't half *** it and get the pedestals machined and bottom tap the block. Good luck!

That's a good idea didn't think of the stretch.. on another note. my current fuel plate has a 6 on it. Therefore it would be a 6 fuel plate right? Idk how they are marked usually
